Bonn Technical Forum 2025: Accelerating tracking of hazardous events and disasters

The 2025 Bonn Technical Forum, themed “Data as the Lever for Climate Action – Accelerating Disaster Tracking Systems,” will bring together technical experts, national authorities, UN agencies, and partners to strengthen disaster-related data ecosystems.
Discussions will focus on accelerating the uptake and country-level use of DELTA Resilience—Disaster & Hazardous Events, Losses and Damages Tracking & Analysis—a next-generation system designed to track hazardous events and associated losses and damages. The Forum will explore practical use cases, methodologies, and strategies to support institutionalization of country-owned disaster tracking systems which enable disaster data and official statistics production and use across the data ecosystem.
