3rd expert group meeting on the Great East Japan earthquake

In conjunction with the “High Level International Conference on Large-Scale Natural Disasters”, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Government of Japan, the Cabinet Office of Japan (CAO), the International Recovery Platform (IRP), and the Asian Disaster Reduction Center (ADRC) are jointly organizing the third expert group meeting to share experiences and lessons on how to reduce impacts of future disasters. About 60 high level delegates, representatives of ADRC member countries, researchers, and NPO/NGO representatives are expected to participate. The conclusions and recommendations drawn from this meeting will feed into the reports on Tohoku Recovery Process as well as the Asia Pacific and the Global Reports on Disaster Risk Reduction.
