Committee of the Regions, NAT - Reducing risk in Post-2015 - EU perspectives on building resilience of communities to disasters

On the 12 December, the Committee of the Region (The EU's Assembly of Regional and Local Representatives), Commission for Natural Resources (NAT) hosts in collaboration with UNISDR Regional Office for Europe a consultation on the HFA+. The purpose of the session is to discuss building resilience to disasters at the local level and to receive input from NAT Commission members on the Post-2015 Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. The outcomes from the session will feed into the overall consultation process.

Members in the NAT commission are elected local and regional representatives from the EU's 28 Member States.
