ISDR Inter-Agency Group on Disaster Risk Reduction UN consultation on HFA 2 and the Third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction

Meeting Objectives:

1. Provide views on the SRSGs paper Proposed Elements for Consideration in the Post-2015 Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, with a focused discussion on the enhanced system for monitoring progress.

2. Identify modalities for UN engagement in the preparations for and at the WCDRR.

3. Define areas where UN commitments will be shaped and presented by the UN Secretary-General at the WCDRR against the UN Plan of Action on Disaster Risk Reduction for Resilience.
