The Inter-Agency and Expert Group on Disaster-related Statistics (IAEG) will hold its second meeting on 13-14 Sept 2022. The Terms of Reference[1] of the IAEG provides the background information on the establishment, objective and functions of the IAEG.
The objectives of the meeting are:
- To brief members of the IAEG on the status on the development of the global framework on disaster-related statistics
- To present an outline of the global framework on disaster-related statistics and issue papers that form its research agenda
- To outline the next steps in this process and expected engagement of the IAEG members
