Collaboration between humanitarian, development and peacebuilding sectors offers exciting new opportunities for the way aid is planned and funded. The paper entitled: Scaling up Disaster Risk Reduction in Humanitarian Action 2.0; brings together a concrete set of recommendations and sets out specific actions to better integrate disaster risk reduction into humanitarian response, including identifying disaster risk and incorporating disaster risk reduction throughout the phases that make up the Humanitarian Programming Cycle, as well as supporting governments to put in place legislation and plans supported by funding processes that include contingency provisions for both climate risks and conflict-related shocks and stresses.

The event will be simultaneously translated into Spanish, English and French.
