The development of public partnership framework and action plan for disaster risk reduction in Asia
This review aims at developing a common action plan that would facilitate public-private partnerships (PPP) for disaster risk reduction (DRR) in East Asia, based on an evaluation of PPP case studies and consultations with stakeholders.
Its outputs include: (i) a report of the current state of PPPs for DRR in East Asia including a list of companies and their activities and partners; (ii) recommendations for strengthening PPPs for DRR, and (iii) an action plan and preliminary budget for promoting PPPs for DRR in the East Asian region.
Country case studies: China, India, Japan, Korea, Nepal, Philippines, and Sri Lanka.
