Disaster risk reduction in Central Asia, building partnerships to secure development gains: issue 2 , October-December 2009
This magazine provides considerable updated information on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) in the Central Asia region. It also contributes to strengthening partnerships and to mobilising resources for regional DRR operations. It aims to contribute to making the region more efficient and better prepared to build a safer and more resilient environment.
The main goal of this second issue is to reflect the activity of the European Commission Humanitarian Aid department (ECHO) partners in Central Asia, as well as the key event and initiatives in the region. This quarterly information bulletin is issued by UNISDR Dushanbe office at the request of ECHO for Central Asia.
