Institutional and policy analysis of disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation in Pacific Island Countries: final report
This study provides an analysis of the current level of integration of disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation in the Pacific, with an emphasis on the policy and institutional environment, and provides recommendations to regional and national stakeholders for follow-up action. It considers the policies and institutional arrangements, responsibilities and operational services and is intended to help enhance the capacity to address, in a proactive and coordinated manner, the risks from multiple natural hazards and climate change, across multiple development sectors.
