Regional Office for Africa Sendai Framework Monitoring News- April 2021

On 31 March 2021 Member States were invited to reflect 2020 data for Targets A, B, C, D & E in the Sendai Framework Monitor. This milestone was particularly important as countries were invited to reflect Covid 19 data for the first time and to report on th e achievement of adoption of national DRR strategies aligned to the Sendai Framework by 2020 (Target E). The data provided will be used for official Member State reporting on the corresponding SDG indicators to the UN DESA and will serve as input to the SDG reporting in 2021 including
