KWF was established in most need of central path to the global activities related to water issues especially to promote and encourage succesful participation and active contribution with its national perspective toward 4th World Water Forum. KWF aims to function as a water think-tank, gathering the ideas from the water related sectors regarding the water problems and its positive participation and support to the global activities and events on water issues. KWF expects to build extensive networks and patnerships with various stakeholders who are working on water issues around the world through the close connection with the World Water Council, the Japan Water Forum, the secretariat of the 4th World Water Forum and all other organisations in relation with the Forum.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
