Flames of change - special report on disability inclusion in disaster risk reduction and prevention

This Special Report, connected with the MCR2030 “Flames of Chance: Innovating Heat and Wildfire Governance for Inclusive Communities” report, strives to focus attention on the following aspects: (a) understanding the issue in relation to ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities; (b) understanding the factors and obstacles that determine the magnitude of the consequences for persons with disabilities in situations of risk and; (c) mapping the International and European frameworks for the protection of the rights of these groups of people, focusing on disaster preparedness and response.
