This course provides an overview on the importance of risk analysis for disaster risk reduction, particularly its relevance during the Humanitarian Programme Cycles and the creation of Common Country Assessments. The course explores diverse tools and services offered by UNDRR that support risk analysis.

This course is targeted toward professionals with minimal knowledge on risk analysis and disaster risk reduction who seek to understand the urgency and importance of the benefits of risk analysis in supporting and integrating disaster risk reduction and risk assessment into national planning processes.
